How to Maintain a Proper Colon
Cleansing
Diet
The Do's and Dont's
of what you should eat to clean your
colon
How
many diets have you failed in your
lifetime? For most of us, we’ve tried
and tried to maintain a healthy diet.
But there’s something about 2-fer pizza
night at Dominos and that
all-you-can-eat buffet for $5.99 that
really makes us go crazy.
Yeah, it’s infinitely easier to
fall off the wagon than it is to get
back on. But if you’re on a colon
cleansing diet, it’s imperative you
stay on it.

A
lot of skeptics may not agree, but your
colon has to be cleansed if you’ve led
an unhealthy lifestyle. Just like the
arteries in your heart get clogged, so
does your small intestine and colon.
You can spot this through sudden weight
gain, fatigue, sleeplessness, mood
swings, headaches, and a thousand other
symptoms. The good news is that it’s
easy to stay on a healthy colon cleansing
diet.
The Dos and Don’ts of a
Colon Cleanse Diet
With
this diet, you have to remember that
it’s not about starving yourself to
lose weight. We actually want food in
our system to be digested and disposed
of. The trick is to eat the right
foods. Here are a few quick tips that
will help you maintain your colon cleansing
diet.
• Don’t eat foods you
don’t like. If you’re a sandwich
fanatic, simply make the switch to
whole wheat bread, add some greenery,
and cut back on the mayo and add
mustard. Do this with a lot of foods.
Make healthy substitutions without
sacrificing. You can be creative
here.
• Let’s cut out that morning
coffee and try some all-natural juice
or water. I know, you can’t survive
without your morning coffee. Well, the
sun still shines without it, believe
me. Caffeine can act as a constrictor
and restrictor, and we don’t need
that.
• Eat less fried foods and more
baked and steamed foods. I love KFC as
much as the next person, but chicken is
good without the skin and without the
tub of fat it’s fried in. Try it and
you may agree.
• Incorporate at least one salad
into your day. Look, your salad doesn’t
have to be iceberg lettuce with ranch
dressing, there are hundreds, if not
thousands of varieties of greenery out
there, and the “add on” list is
never-ending.
Staying on your colon cleansing diet
might be hard first. But once you start
to develop your tastes, you’ll be okay.
And furthermore, once you see the
results that your colon cleansing diet
gives you, you’ll be more than willing
to switch that PB-n-J to wheat
bread.
